Over the course of my final year at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, I scored and sound designed 3x Caldecott Medal recipient David Wiesner’s wordless picture book “Flotsam”, a book that I grew up with. I hope that this is the first of a series of immersive picture books.

On April 11th, 2026 I had the chance to show my work live alongside Violinists Sofia Malvinni and Elisa Jeon, and cellist Thea Bowne. The goal of the shows were to be as immersive as possible, so I mixed the music and sound in 9.1.6 Dolby Atmos, designed the set, and had help with the amazing lighting by Ben Kitchen.
